JERMAINE O'NEAL

ED DANIELS

Assistant Coach

 

A graduate of Tulsa Union High School (2010), he furthered his career at Bakersfield Junior College and Cal State-Bakersfield. This was just the beginning of his career as he went on to play professional basketball in Europe and Canada.

After Playing, Daniels joined the Vancouver Basketball Academy where he held a Player Development position, as assistant to the top Canadian professional trainer Doug Plumb, who has worked with players such as Carmelo Anthony, Donovan Mitchell, CJ McCollum, and Jeff Green. Off the court, Ed assisted with major marketing activations for brands such as Nike, Footlocker, and NBA Canada.

Since returning home Daniels joined Jermaine O’Neal’s decorated grassroots program Drive Nation. 

DREW JANSZEN

Assistant Coach

Drew Janszen is entering his 1st season as an assistant coach with Dynamic Prep and his ninth season overall as an assistant at the college and high school level.

Janszen came to Dynamic Prep from Sam Houston State where has was Director of Player Development and Operations for the 2021-2022 season. During his time in Huntsville, Janszen carved out a role of enhancing several players on court skills, including first team all-conference Savion Flagg. During the inaugural season in the WAC conference, The Bearkats posted a conference record of 13-5, finishing one game outside of first place.

Prior to joining Sam Houston State, Janszen was a member of the North Texas coaching staff from 2019-2021 as a graduate assistant. While with the Mean Green he served on a staff that guided North Texas to a CUSA regular season and tournament championship along with the university’s first ever NCAA tournament win against Purdue in 2021. During that period, Janszen coached two All-CUSA selections, and Javion Hamlet, the 2020 CUSA Athlete and Player of the year.

Previously, Janszen spent two summers working with Tim Martin Enterprises as a lead trainer for the pre-draft. During that time, he personally trained or assisted in training over 11 players currently on NBA/G-league rosters.
