ED DANIELS

Assistant Coach

A graduate of Tulsa Union High School (2010), he furthered his career at Bakersfield Junior College and Cal State-Bakersfield. This was just the beginning of his career as he went on to play professional basketball in Europe and Canada.

After Playing, Daniels joined the Vancouver Basketball Academy where he held a Player Development position, as assistant to the top Canadian professional trainer Doug Plumb, who has worked with players such as Carmelo Anthony, Donovan Mitchell, CJ McCollum, and Jeff Green. Off the court, Ed assisted with major marketing activations for brands such as Nike, Footlocker, and NBA Canada.

Since returning home Daniels joined Jermaine O’Neal’s decorated grassroots program Drive Nation.

MANNY CALTON

Assistant Coach

Emmanuel “Manny” Calton serves as an Assistant Coach at Dynamic Prep, entering his second year with one of the nation’s most prestigious basketball academies known for developing elite collegiate and professional talent. A rising figure in the prep and grassroots basketball world, Coach Calton brings a player-centered, detail-driven approach rooted in leadership, analytics, and culture building.

Before joining Dynamic Prep, Coach Manny made an immediate impact on the Nike EYBL circuit, leading Drive Nation 15U to a #1 seed at Peach Jam in his first season—all while serving as the youngest head coach on the circuit. What began as a roster with no ranked prospects transformed under development; by season’s end, seven players were ranked in Texas, including Marcus Spears Jr who ascended into the top three nationally. Coach Manny’s success on that stage earned him the opportunity to join Dynamic Prep under the tutelage of NBA All-Star Jermaine O’Neal, where he continues to refine his craft and contribute to one of the country’s premier programs.

A former collegiate player himself, Coach Manny played at the University of Dallas, where he was a three-year team captain and graduated with honors with a degree in Business. His background as both a player and coach allows him to connect deeply with athletes, helping them grow not only in skill and IQ but also in character and professionalism.

At Dynamic Prep, Coach Manny specializes in player development, film breakdown, and advanced game preparation, with a focus on detail, discipline, and results.

AARON ESPINOSA

He joined Dynamic Prep in August 2023, bringing with him a legacy of excellence forged during four transformative seasons at Paul Quinn College, where he worked alongside Brandon Espinosa.

At Paul Quinn, Coach Espinosa played a central role in the program’s resurgence, guiding the team to a 50–28 record in non-guarantee games and leading strategic preparation for the Tigers’ 2021–22 USCAA National Championship run. His tenure produced:

Espinosa’s reputation as a premier player developer is backed by an extraordinary track record:

He later joined Nike EYBL Drive Nation, where he elevated their 16U team to a Peach Jam National Championship runner-up finish, a PIT Championship in 2022, and multiple Peach Jam appearances.

A native of Houston, Texas, Espinosa was an ACCA All-American and National Champion at Dallas Christian College, where he earned his Bachelor of Business Administration with a Minor in Biblical Studies in 2014.
